The former CM said he had been in politics for 50 years. “I’ve been in this game for 50 years, but I’ve never seen these kinds of violations,” he said.

Chaudhary had sent a notice to Preneet Kaur on Wednesday, a day before a ground test against Sanjeev Sharma Bittu, mayor of Patiala, which is Amarinder’s hometown. Bittu was suspended on Thursday. Bittu had sided with Amarinder and urged members of Congress to join him. Preneet Kaur is said to have been in a meeting with advisers.
